Hi everyone, here's my cover for week 5 of the Illustrating Children's books online course with @makeartthatsells .
.
I tried a more hand drawn style this time around (2nd time of doing the course) and it took me a while to find my flow. I think i went too detailed to start which was then hard to keep up all the way through so I simplified and felt happier. I need to finish a couple of weeks off, but really enjoyed it and have learnt alot!

I was looking at this one today, and so i thought I'd share, I do love a bit of beetroot. I was also in the garden today for a short while shoving poles in the ground! I'm making a sort of arbour... not sure if it will work or not....also I inspected my seedlings in the ground, beetroot looking small and leafy but growing I am glad to report 💜❤

With remembrance Sunday coming up and red poppies everywhere I though this could be a good share with Anne being 'one of the most famous teenagers in #history' and 'a role model for bravery' because of her diary being found and published in 1947. After about 2 years of hiding in the attic Anne was sent to a concentration camp, and then another after nearly facing the gas chamber, to tragically die of typhus at the age of 15 in the camp. .
