Where does Sarah hang out?
Sarah Papworth creates, and lives, in a cotswold village in the West Midlands, UK. She enjoys trips to London and likes to draw and grow veg in the garden when the weather is fine.
Where did her design career start?
Starting her career in Home design on textiles and hard-goods within British Home Stores, Sarah built her commercial eye and Head Office retail knowledge. Working in all areas, from bedding to dinnerware, Sarah enjoys designing for a wide range of pattern on product types.
Why did Sarah go freelance?
Going freelance, and working from home meant being able to move away from London and explore wider design opportunities such as; book illustration, kidswear design and commissioned pieces, while still enjoying her much loved Homeware.
